Family correspondence

The Bernstein family was a remarkably close one. Here we have correspondence between Bernstein and his parents—Samuel and Jennie—and his sister and brother—Shirley and Burton. Shirley became a literary agent, and Burton a staff writer for The New Yorker. Among them they developed their own unique vocabulary. We also have the correspondence between Bernstein and his wife, the Chilean-born, stage and television actress, Felicia Montealegre-Cohn Bernstein.
