Briefs: Ecclesiastical Law, Jurisdiction and Privilege
Briefs are written legal documents presented to a court arguing why one party to a case should prevail over the other. This subsection of “Briefs” includes a broad range of issues related to church administration, such as the jurisdiction of civil courts over ecclesiastical matters and the jurisdiction of the church over civil matters, clerical appointments and associated benefits and privileges, as well as disciplinary issues such as the excommunication of members and ecclesiastical immunity from criminal charges.

Los expedientes jurídicos son documentos legales redactados y llevados ante un tribunal para presentar querellas y argüir por qué una de las partes de un caso debe prevalecer sobre la otra.
