This subsection of “Laws and Statutes” includes orders concerning military appointments, drafting and recruitment of soldiers, the administration of military justice, and granting privileges to the military or honoring soldiers who fought in wars.

Royal Order of June 17, 1752 provides that whenever troops move from one province to the other they must report the debts they have incurred to the Secretary of War instead of reporting them to their Captain General.

Order issued by the Ministry of War on June 20, 1815 granting a decoration of honor to several soldiers who fought in the Battle of Utiel on August 25, 1812.

Royal order of June 21, 1770 issued by King Carlos III, concerning the supply of wood to the Royal Army.

Royal Order of June 26, 1809 issued by King José Napoleón of Spain, voiding the laws that authorized a convict to serve in the army in lieu of serving his sentence in a penitentiary.

Royal Order of June 31, 1771 issued by King Carlos III, implementing another Royal Order of November 3, 1770, concerning the annual replacement of soldiers in the Royal Armies.

Royal Order of March 12, 1771 issued by King Carlos IV, providing for several measures to be taken by the military authorities to avoid that convicts desert to the Moors. It also provides that these convicts be confined to the navy yards of Ferrol, Cadiz and Cartagena.

Royal Order of March 21, 1775 issued by King Carlos III amending Article X of the Royal Order of November 1770. This Order of March 21, 1775 authorizes the Provincial Councils to grant leave to soldiers under certain circumstances.
