Notarial Instruments
“Notarial Instruments” is the smallest of the six original categories of the Spanish Legal Documents collection. Documents in this category consist of certifications extracted from notarial records concerning wills, donations, agreements on debts, freedom of prisoners, collection of taxes, and the weighing of grains.

Los documentos en esta categoría comprenden certificaciones extraídas de registros notariales relacionados a testamentos, donaciones, acuerdos sobre deudas, la liberación de presos, recaudación de impuestos y el pesaje de granos.

Will executed in the village of Laguna in November 1567 by Melchor de Pedrosa, the elder son of Lic. Francisco de Pedrosa and Doña Beatriz Maldonado who resided in the village of Castellanos.

Agreement between the community of the village of Rabal and its creditors executed on July 6, 1747 before a Notary Public of the city of Zaragoza, Miguel José Ros.

Deed executed in the city of Zaragoza on December 18, 1728 before the Notary Public, Juan Lozano, whereby the representatives of the city of Daroca, village of Baguena, San Martín del Rio and others agreed upon the manner and amount of taxes to be collected by said municipal governments.
